I have a large number of worksheets in a workbook, all
with a substantial number of blank lines at the bottom.
These make the file quite large. How do I remove these
rows, without copying all the worksheets individually to
another sheet?

There's always 64k rows in a worksheet (xl97 and greater). You can't delete
them.

But if you meant that the used range is a lot bigger than you think it should be
(ctrl-End goes off the deep end), then take a look at Debra Dalgleish's site:

For some techniques to reset the lastusedcell.
