Hi Mary,
The answer isn't simple, of course. It may be because the images you
inserted into the presentation are more detailed than they need to be. Or
it could be because the 'Fast Saves' option is checked. Or it could be that
you have bulky hidden objects on your slides.
If you have a presentation with 300 slides of multiple images, 200 megs may
be the smallest it can be (without nasty image quality reduction). If your
presentation is 12 slides of text only, than 200 is way out of line.

presentation file to a more manageable size.
