Reducing PPT file-size

If you have a PPT presentation that is very large when you create it, it is sometimes possible to reduce the size by merely doing a SaveAs, then saving it with another filename

I have noticed some drastic reductions in file size by doing this simple step. (One file went from 3MB to about 400K !) This will also work for WORD (very good results) and for Excel (not as drastic). This is something I do periodically when modifying an Office document, as I've noticed that the file size tends to grow as more is added/deleted

Hope this helps someone!! It sure helps network traffic on a LAN, and server storage-space!!

Thank you for the tip, DBryd,
