Redirecting to UK version of websites

taking me to the UK version.

For example, I type in http://www.google.com but IE redirects me to
http://www.google.co.uk. This is the same for many websites.

Does anyone know how to stop this redirect?

IE will do this if English (en-uk) is above English (en-us) at
Tools | Internet Options | Languages.

Thanks, I already did this but still getting the re-direction on some
sites, google is now fine.

Other sites, such as the MS Support site also use Cookies.
