You are asked to redirect folders to a server location for
two groups of users, one redirecting in basic and another
one advanced, incidentally one member is found to be in
both groups, so what will be the effect on redirecting the
folder? Is there a particular order of redirecting between
basic and advance? Which takes precedence? Is a time stamp
for redirecting?

Thank you.

Hello.

There is no time stamp for the redirection process, at once first time,
folder redirection, will move the local content of ex: My Documents to the
particular network share. If there is and existing local profile with
contents in a redirected folder, it will be moved to the particular network
share.

At logon folder redirection will map My Documents shortcuts the particular
network share intend of point it to the local profile.

You can't setup both Advanced and Basic Redirection within same Policy. with
different settings in different policy settings, Folder Redirection will
follow the basic conflict terms of Group Policies.

Group Policies doesn't applies to groups , it applies to Sites, Domains,
OUs.
