When ever I enter a certain web site address in the
address bar I am sent to an entirly differant address. I
know that the address I am trying to get still exists
because I can bring it up on a differant computer.
What could be causing this and how do I fix it?

Thanks

I'm experiencing a similar problem at the moment.
Whenever I type in an address without the initial 'www',
then my browser redirects to a porn website!! It didn't
happen before. It just started doing it today! Anyone can
help us?

Thanks,
Sek

Sek,
Some program (usually spyware\parasite) may have overridden the URL prefix
setting?
Open Regedit to the following locations and verify the below default
entries:
Start | Run (type) "regedit" (no quotes)

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\DefaultPre
fix]
@="http://"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\Prefixes]
"ftp"="ftp://"
"gopher"="gopher://"
"home"="http://"
"mosaic"="http://"
"www"="http://"

Note: edit as needed, *always* Export before editing.
