I guess it would help if the newsgroup showed up on the Microsoft newsgroup
reader:

It doesn't show there at all, infact, you have to plop it in the URL to
access the group.

Mine neither; I've emailed the administrator the information that
modulesdaovba and modulesdaovba.ado are going away in preference to
modulescoding, but he's not yet acted (AFAIK).
