Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to create
an add-in to REDIRECT (not foward) an email manually
(rather than a rule).
I want to be able to select read messages then redirect
them to a certain mailbox.

I have seen mapilabs "redirector" but it crashes my
outlook. If anyone has code or can point me to some
resources that will help this, it would be greatly
appreciated. I am not a very good programmer, so anythig
will help.

Also, i forgot to mention I am in an exchange
environment, and if i change the From: field manually, i
do not have permissions to send email from that other
email account.

Hi Craig,

Why do you need code to do that?

Once you have them selected, just drag and drop them to the other
mailbox (you'll need write access of course).

Alan.

Because I need to be able to read emails and see if they have enough
information in them. If they do then i have to redirect that email to our
call logging system which will auto generate an email based on the users
From: field.
If i just drop the email into that systems inbox, it wont create a ticket.
