Webmail:
First, it is the weirdest thing. I can access my company web based email
from any other computer in the office but mine and at home. All computers
use IE 6 in a 2000 Pro environment.
I can access the login screen, input the appropriate information, and click
enter. I receive an error message. I duplicate the same steps on another
computer and I enter with no problems. I've entered it the url as a Trusted
site, deleted all cookies, restored IE settings to no avail.
The second issues is just as bizzare. For example, until several days ago, I
could access XBOX.com forums with no problems from home. Then the other day
when I attempted to access that partuicular branch of the site, I was
redirected to the main page. I've attempted loging into the site and received
the same results. So I tried to access the page from my work computer.
Identical situation.
The only correlation I can think of between my home and office computers is
that they are both set up for Automatic updates from Windows. I must admit I
don't really pay much attention to them since they come directly from
Microsoft. Is it possible that the latest up date had a bug?
