Client has a Windows 2000 server that's running a SQL database (and is the
only AD machine). It also runs the backup software (BriteStore ArcServe 9).

They want to "migrate" that computer to a new server -- it seems as though
the current one is 3+ years old, running a little rough, and the C drive is
always full.

In the "competitor's product" there is a migration utility to do just
that... move Server-1 from one box to another. Is there something simular
for W2k?

The knowledge base article says the procedure is not
recommended for domain controllers. Is there a procedure
for domain controllers available? In what way can I move a
domain controller to new hardware?

Thanks,

Ed
