Redemption not working on OL2007

I am writing a database in Access 2003 which uses the Redemption.dll
code to send emails without the warning message. This works fine on
Outlook 2003 but the person who will be using this database has
Outlook 2007 installed and, when they send an email, nothing happens.
The email is not sent and it does not show up in the Drafts folder (as
it does in 2003).

Is there a work around or a later version of the dll which can fix the
problem or could it be an error in the code.

TIA

Peter Hibbs.

What version of Redemption are you using?
What is the relevant snippet of your code? Does Outlook run whe nyour code
is executed?

Dmitry,

Hope you are still watching this thread, my users were a bit slow in
getting back to me and I have also got them doing a bit more testing.

The Version Number is - 4.7.0.1026

What they have is Mozilla Thunderbird as their main email program (and
is the default email program) as well as Outlook. It would seem that
the Redemption code only works if Outlook is the default program (I
got them to swap them over to check that).

They have now made Outlook as the default program for outgoing emails
(I don't know how as I don't know too much about Outlook) and they are
using the Thunderbird program for incoming emails.

With this set up the automatic emails work OK so they are happy now.

Thanks for your help and the excellent redemption code and if you have
any further comments on this arrangement I will pass them on to my
users.

Peter Hibbs.
