Red hat9.0 install issue

based on the winxp, when i install the RH9.0 sys showed "no hard disk
drive found", actually it exists already.

who can advice on it?

Hi, I've read your suggestion already, thnx! it explained how to
identify the NTFS format, mine is FAT32, it should be more easier to
see it for Linux.
I'm a novice on Linux :), only know it a few. some body said RH is
pretty old now, and suggest me kindly to use other such as SLAX,
Knoppix, etc. i will try this. maybe will encounter other problems.

The one I personally had most success with, was PCLinuxOS.
The Cd booted cleanly, and the OS seemed to run quite well.
Sadly tho` I`ve got a couple of bits of hardware that Linux doesn`t
like too much.

RH9 is a 2-3 years old. The latest version is called Fedora Core 5.
