red crosses instead of videoclips

I have saved my video project properly. this evening Iwanted to start working with it again and it turns out that all my videoclips have gone and have changed into big red crosses. all the other things are still there; like titlechapters and subtitles but all my videoclips are gone!!! :-((

does anybody have a solution for my problem. i have put a lot of time in it and I don't want to loose all this precious material!
 
Your source files have been moved or deleted. Put things
back.

right click in the timeline and pick the search for
missing clip option. It should find the clips. I've done
it.
