I installed an new Maxtor drive and transfored the files
using Windows XP. After doing so, I've had a few
problems. The one I can't fix is the Recycle Bin.
Whenever I delete something off the D drive, everything
is OK. If i delete of the C drive, my new drive, it
doesn't appear in the Bin. If I should choose to empty
the Bin, it will show that it's present.

e.g. Say I had 5 items in the bin. I deleted 3 off the
C drive. They wouldn't appear. If I chose select all
and properties it would only show I had 5 items. If,
however, I chose to empty the bin, it would say 8 items
were about to be deleted.

Does anybody know what I should do to make these Items
appear?

Thanks.

Hi John,
Right Click on the Recycle Bin,
Click on the Global Tab. Click on "Use one setting for all drives", remove
the the check mark from "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin"
