recylcle bin

I'm running XPPro. Inadvertently deleted some files, then
found that there is no recycle bin on my desktop. Did a
search for Recycle Bin and came up with nothing.

Does the "pro' version of XP not use a recycle bin? Is
there any other way to retrieve these files?

START > Run... > explorer

Do you see Recycle in the tree view?
