Recycle?

I used to get my porridge oats loose from a zinc tin, put into a paper bag ... isn't zinc good for you?

The quality of the air I breath is at risk from other people breathing out ... please stop breathing. :)

I thought that would have been bloody obvious, recycled paper/cardboard should not be used to package food, gawd knows what crap goes into it.

Recycled paper gets all kinds of crap in it, just look at the public's sense when putting recycled rubbish into containers, it's never purely paper, metal or glass that ends up in them as it should do.

Companies are bending over backwards to try and prove themselves eco-friendly and I think it's all b******s frankly but I ain't gonna go into one here and right now.

From councils fining people for putting the wrong recycling materials into their containers to Green Nazis trying to stop you driving a fossil-fuelled car, the greenies are one of my pet hates.

Ok, I'm starting to go off on one, I best shut up ;)

Lol, I do tend to get rather passionate about my dislikes which is probably a failing of mine.

Fortunately I have precious few dislikes compared to my many likes. This, I like to believe, is not a failing of mine ;)

On the subject of Green, the more companies harp on about their green credentials, the more I'm put off using them. Marks & Spencers said they were going to charge for their carrier bags to encourage people to use their own bags, thus providing a green incentive.

Absolute codswallop, just more profit for Markus & Sparkius.

Not a lot of people know this but it's a fact that Marks & Spencers did actually start off as Markus & Sparkius and was started by a group of Jewish refugees in Rome circa 65 BC. Their skills as tailors became renowned and they went to clothe, amongst others, Julius Caesar and Nero.

Interesting eh? :)
