Hi. I can create a hyperlink on a web page and using IE it will open
Outlook to the selected public folder. For Example:

Outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/MyFolder

But doing so opens a new instance of Outlook. I know there is the
command-line switch /recycle for Outlook which will prevent Outlook
from opening a new instance, but I cannot get it to work in the
hyperlink:

Outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/MyFolder /recycle

Does any one know the correct syntax to hyperlink to Outlook and
recyle the current instance of Outlook running?

Thanks.

If I use a hyperlink with the form:

Outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/MyFolder /recycle

I receive an error from Outlook saying "Unable to display the selected
folder or item..."

Putting quotes around the command

"Outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/MyFolder /recycle"
or
'Outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/MyFolder /recycle'

makes the hyperlink invalid.
