Recently on Vista boot up, error messages appeared "recycle bin corrupt" for each partition. Followed Microsoft Support's fix using command prompt "
rd /s /q c:\recycler" for each partition, which cleared the error message after reboot. However, now when I send a file to recycle bin, file does not appear when I open the bin (list is blank). I have checked bin properties and the "delete immediately" option is NOT selected. The file count to be deleted has increased by one when I go to execute an "empty recycle bin" command and get the dialog "You sure you want to delete (number) of files?". It seems the file is really there but is not being displayed in the recycle bin info file.
Help appreciated!
