Recycle Bine

Al Hunt

The recycle bin shortcut is not on the desktop. I cannot
find out how to do it. This shortcut was not on this
laptop when I purchased it about a month ago.

Are any of your other icons on your desk top??

1. [Yes] then right-click and select [Properties] On the
tabs select [Desktop] then near the bottom select
[Customize Desktop]. Then near the middle of the window
select [Restore Default]

2. [No] Then right-click on your desktop select [Arrange
Icons By] [Show Desktop Icons]

That didn't work. The icon shows in the default box and
appears to have action when you click on restore default
but the icon does not show up on the desktop.

Well Al,

Now we are the realm of what if..

1. What if you changed the default icon by selcting the
icon in the default box by selecting [Change Icon...] and
chosing a different icon, then seeing if that icon shows
up.

2. I am assuming my #2 response has all icons selected, so
then unselect the [Show Desktop Icons] and reselect it.

3. The only other thing I can recommend is right-click on
your desktop select [Properties] [Desktop] and choose
Backgound: None, to see if your back ground is somehow
hidding it.
