Recycle Bin

Can't find the recycle bin. It was on the desktop, but is no longer there.
How or where can I find it?

Rightclick the desktop, then Properties. Desktop tab, "Customize Desktop"
button. Put a check in the icon for the recycle bin.

Did as you suggested but didn't see any place to put a check for the recycle
bin. There were three boxes at the top of the page but they were for desktop
and a couple of other things.
