recycle bin still protected why???

I have norton av 2003 i have unchecked protected bin then
checked standard bin via right click etc but

Evidence eliminator still says that the recycle bin is
protected when i unchecked it

Plz explain this to me

You will probably get a better answer from the application
manufacturers.
In this case Norton and Evidence Eliminator.
 
Contact Norton for support. This newsgroups is for support with Windows XP
and other Microsoft Products. Your issue is caused by a third-party
program.

Did you empty the protected bin before unchecking the box for it?
