Hi

Someone has a problem with their recycle bin.
When they delete any file the file does not appear in the
recycle bin, so the recycle bin is always empty !

Can someone help ?

Check the properties of the recycle bin and see if the do not move to
recycle bin is checked.

Just FWIW, I found a virus the other day (an IRC XDDC Trojan to be
precise) on a user's machine that had decided that the Recycler folder
was where it wanted to store its files. I didn't look in the recycle
bin at the time, so I don't know for sure, but you might want to take a
peek into the actual recycler portion of the file system. Tons of
not-really-deleted files could cause that problem.

My $$ is still on the box 'Do not move to Recycle Bin; Delete
Immediately', though. Having that box checked wouldn't interfere with
the confirmation dialog and wouldn't change the text of said dialog.

The box is not checked, and he recieves a conformation
when deleting that asks him if he wants to delete the file
to the recycle bin.

He said that this happened after he recieve an email with
a virus; when he opened the email his mail closed, and
since then he doesn't see the files he deletes in the
recycle.
