recycle bin icon

Hi,

My recycle bin icon in XP Home edition recently changed
from the default icon to a file folder icon. I tried to
recover the icon by resetting the theme, but the icon
stayed the same. Obviously something got changed but I
have know idea what or how. Can someone tell me how to
recover or repair the recycle bin icon? Thanks for your
help.

Right-click on your Desktop and select:
Properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Restore Default
