This is actually a follow up to a previous post.
I had a closer look and in fact, the IE shortcut icons are
there, but, there is a Recycle Bin icon sitting on top of
each one. This happens when I create a new IE shortcut.
I tried the "MaxCachedIcons" fix, creating a cache of
5096, but that didn't do anything.
I actually had the Recycle Bin icon show up over top of
application shortcuts, but these went away after running
System Mechanic and cleaning the registry, among other
things.
I'm convinved there must be a registry fix or this.
