Recycle Bin and My Computer Icons Missing

I am unable to see my Recycle Bin Icon, both on the
desktop, and in Windows Explorer view.
Also, I am unable to get my, My Computer Icon to show up
on the desktop. I believe it was because of a cosmetic
tweak I had downloaded from, http://www.kellys-korner-
xp.com/xp_tweaks2.htm#cos I believe the tweak changed the
registry entry, but I cannot figure out a way to get it
back. Please advise.
 
Have you tried using System Restore to take your system back to a time prior
to when this began? Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System
Restore.
