I am positive I am not the only one fighting with this. It is terribly
inconsistent to allow modification of a single instance of a recurring
appointment that has no end date, then if an end date is entered go back and
rewrite all those records loosing all previous data. The inability to stop
or change a recurring appointments ending date without loosing data should,
in my opinion, have been totally unacceptable. This should have a VERY high
priority of changing. You would go along way toward respecting your users
data, which at this time Outlook absolutely does not, just to make changing
the end date of recurring appointments not change any records previous to
that end date. It is hard to believe that this would be very difficult to do
with a little thought.
