Recurring Meeting gets canceled

When I setup a recurring meeting and then later modify a single instance to
add a meeting room as a resource (which has been setup as a resource and is
used frequently), update notices get sent out, and then BAM the meeting is
canceled and canceled notices are sent out. I'm using Outlook 2003 SP3 with
up to date patches connecting to Exchange 2003 SP2, up to date patches.

Any ideas? Thanks.
 
Found the culprit! It was an add-in for calendar synchronization with Gmail.
Removing this made things work again. Add-ins!!!!!!
