Recurring Appt's not showing in To Do Bar in 2007

My To-Do bar and indeed my Calendar view have stopped showing recurring
appointments (which I also use to mark birthdays etc.), yet they are ther if
I search for them.

Any clever bods now how to fix this one?

TIA
 
Shot in the dark... are the appointments marked as busy time? Also, I don't
think all-day events show up there.
