Recurring account lockouts

Help with this would very much be appreciated. User
accounts continue on a daily basis to get locked out.
There was a group policy previously created regarding
account lockouts, but I have removed that and the problem
still remains...and passwords are not being entered
incorrectly. So daily I have to access Active Directory
and clear the account lockout checkmark? Any ideas. Thanx
