recuring appointments that are not supposed to be recuring

When I set an appointment it often automatically sets a series of recuring
dates. I dont want that. is there some default that I have set incorrectly?

Uninstall the outlookaddinsetup from control panel on your Dell.

Obviously I didnt read the archive. I tried to and did a number of searches
but I guess Im not that good at it. Your suggestion was great, and thank you
so much for your help.
