Rectangle: round specific corners

Hello,

I'm trying to round specific corners of a rectangle (an image), namely the
top right and the bottom right corners. Using the built in autoshapes, I
wasn't able to do this (I could only get the two top and/or the two bottom
corners rounded). Normally, I'd rotate the autoshape to achieve the desired
effect, but since it's a graphic, I can't do that. I have to do the same
thing to a textfield and various other objects, so rotating the image before
inserting it into PowerPoint isn't an option. I'm using Office 2007
Professional.

Hi,

you'll have to draw a freeform polygon to be able to get a shape with just 2
rounded corners.

I was sure you can do it in 2007. Change the shape of the graphic to the
shape you want and you are all set... But... I am seeing what you mean..
They added shapes that are upper right and lower left, but there doesn't
seem to be the combo you want...

Sure you can. But it takes a big of menu digging to discover how.

1) Insert the auto-shape called 'Round same side corner rectangle'. If you
have trouble finding it, it is the second from the right on the rectangles
line.
2) Rotate it 90 degrees clockwise so that the right upper and lower corners
are the ones it is rounding.
3) Right click on it and select 'Format shape'
4) Select the Textbox tab
5) Under Text direction, change it to 'Rotate all text 270 degrees'
