My XP installation is a goner. It won't boot, not even
when I use safe mode. (it crashes on the boot screen).
Even the recovery console will not let me get in to fix
anything. I already plan on reinstalling windows on
another HD, but I have all sorts of files that I'd rather
not lose that are located in my "My Documents" folder. Of
course, since my profile has its files made private, I
can't just access them from this new install of Windows
XP.
If anyone could help me with either a way to get windows
to boot so that I can move these files to the root
directory to copy them, or knows a way to retrieve these
files, I'd greatly appreciate the assistance.
