recovery disk

i'm just a novice when it comes to computers, but i think
i may have deleted some important files and and i would
like to make a recovery disk but my files are missing
when i go to make a recovery disk, my question is does
anybody know if there is a microsoft website that would
enable me to download a recovery disk off the internet?
my operating system i'm using is windows xp home edtion

Recovery Disk are provide by the maker of your PC. Microsoft has nothing to
do with them.
