recovery data from hdd from a user with password

hello
i had a system that doesnt works
i took the hdd i put in a case and i use it like external
i want to take from the external hdd files from users.
The users are adminisrators and i know the passwords.

i think the procedure is "over ship files"
did somebody knows the procedure??

I think you're looking for 'ownership.'
