Just a small issue, I hope.
That is I am unable to get to recovery console. It starts the process of
loading and accepts the NVidia drivers for IDE & Raid and when it gets to
point of starting windows it just stalls or hangs. No HDD activity. I'm not
running RAID, but when it gets to loading of drivers after F6 and S, it says
RAID driver (required).
Currently at XP SP3 and I've updated the recovery console install on the
HDD.
Concerned that the SATA drive, drive (2) might be an issue, I've
unplugged it.
Now wonder if USB drivers for NVidia MOBO might be an issue. That is I'm
using USB mouse & Kybd.
I really want the assurance that if I need to do a recovery of sorts that I
am able to.
This post is a repost of the original post with the content moved to the top
and also a repost to the general group as a test to see if my problem of
posting to that group is fixed.

Update. I've tried a standard keyboard and mouse. No joy.
But I do see that my latest posted to the general group and it was likely a
problem with my local store since cleaning it fixed the problem there.
And, I probably should have mentioned that the recovery console install was
done from the HDD after integrating SP3 and does have the newer files.
I'm booting to recovery console at the screen that asks me whether to load
XP or the recovery console.
When it starts to load devices, screen goes black and in a few moments HDD
activity ceases. No activity for at least 10 minutes.
Please help me figure this out.
