Chris

I recently upgraded my hardware and am no longer able to
boot into windows. Before I do a format/reinstall
however, I would like to recover the data from Outlook.
Is all of my data (eg. calendar info, contact info, old
messages) located in the one file

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

In other words, in order to salvage everything, what file
(s) do i need to recover before formatting? Any help is
appreciated. Thanks.

Diane Poremsky's Slipstick site has information
on How and Where Outlook stores its information.
Usually this information is stored in a PST file:
