I know this is not active directory related but the file
systems is not up right now.. I need HELP! Recovering
someones offline folders that were pointing to an invaild
server that does not exist anymore so I changed to
synchronize to the new server by disabling and enabling
offline folder options I didn't make a copy of the
shortcut to offline folders which is where the users data
happened to be. The shortcut disappeared when I disabled
the options and I cannot recover the data. Please help.

a v. v. quick step to getting to your offline content is within Windows
Explorer to go to Tools-->Folder Options and on the Offline Folders tab to
create a shortcut on the desktop and then open up the offline folders from
the desktop shortcut, but I'm not sure whether the contents will still be
there - did you delete the offline content? if you enable viewing of
operating system file and folders do you have content in your CSC folders
(usually under winnt) or are they just a few kilobytes?
