Yes, I am not on an exchange server.
I can get as far as G:\Users\"My name"\ but I cannot open the Local
settings
folder. It says it is not accesible and access is denied. The folder is
transparent and has a shortcut mark in the corner.
I followed the instructions to show all hidden files etc... There are
other
folders with the same issues, Application Data, cookies, Local settings,
plus
5or6 other folders. all trasparent with a shortcut mark. They all also say
they contain 0 Bytes.
I am able to open some folders AppData, Desktop, pictures etc...
Any help would be great.

If so, the file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where
all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
