Recovering CD key?

Is it possible to recover the CD key on Windows 2k Advanced Server?

The guy who built the box for us went out of business. The guy who bought
him out can't find anything in the disorganized mess left behind.

We have a backup of the installation CD, but we don't have the key. Are we
screwed?

You can use AIDA32, audity report utilty tool, beyond the innumerable
information that this software presents to it, you appear the CDKEY of
windows...
