Outlook 2000. Someone on the group recently kindly indicated how I could
change or remove archive settings Thanks. But I have another problem. The
'sent' archive was set to 2 months and the earlier messages went to
archive.pst How can I recover those archives back to the sent folder so that
it is as though archiving was never set up for that? Alternatively, how can
I arrange it so that the archives are readable? This is because I often need
to check back a long way to verify what I sent.

Click File>Open>Personal Folders File. Browse to the archive PST, select
it, and click OK. You can now access all the data in it. Open the Sent
Items folder it contains, select all the items in it, and drag them back to
your main Sent Items folder.

Thank you Brian! All OK now. As long as I can readily read it I won't need
to move the messages after all.
