Well, I've never done this before. Several weeks I wrote a Word file
called (fictional name) HelloThere.docx. Today I wrote another one by
the same name with a completely different intent. I was using the old
one for reference. I had both of them up at the same time and didn't
even notice the difference. How could that be? I probably created the
new one from scratch, and despite numerous saves of it, Word didn't
complain. BTW, no wbk files are available. Awhile ago, I closed the new
one, and began to close the old one. Word offered that I was replacing a
file by that name. I thought what the heck I did modify a few words in
the old one, so allowed the save.
I suspect there's no way to undo the old files to see the new one?
Although, I think Win 7, etc. have some sort of restore to some point.
This may not be a true disaster. I had printed out a copy of the new
one, and it only received a few changes afterward. I do have an HP
printer with OCR.
