Hey all, I recently got this computer (from my bro) and decided to reformat it. After that I installed all the drivers and stuff that went with the computer but when I tried installing this particular program: 'Veoh Player' my computer starts going all wierd. After the install completes and the Veoh Player turns on, the computer restarts and an error comes up saying 'Your computer has recovered from a serious error.'

The details of the error is as follows:
BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : 80000004 BCP2 : 804D4D02 BCP3 : BAB41CA0
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

I am not to sharp at computers so I have no clue what that means, but would anybody know what that means? I really want my computer in tip top shape, like most people do.

Anyways sorry for ranting and wasting your time.
Any help given would be awesome!

Thanks in advance.

Which version of windows do you have? (I've moved the thread into the XP software forum as a guess).

If you uninstall or don't run the veoh player does the PC work as normal?

That would be correct, my computer is Windows XP.
As soon as the Veoh player finishes installing and is about to begin, my computer reboots and after it reboots that error comes up, and every time after I try and open Veoh player, my computer reboots.
(Yes if I uninstall or don't run the player my computer runs normal, I think. I however prefer to have it thought cause I believe it is a great program.)

Computer Specs are as follows:
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1800+
1.54GHz
640MB of RAM

Motherboard:Model GA-7DXE
Version:1.x
VideoProcessor: GeForce4 MX 440

Ok I think thats all.

Thanks in advance.

Re:

I Would Say That Some Driver Needs To Be Updated Or Changed.there Is Reason To Believe That A Driver(s) Is Not Up To What This Program Requires To Operate.

I tried to update all my drivers via Computer->properties->hardware->device manager

After trying to update all my drivers (I don't know if i did it correctly but there weren't many I could update (only one to be exact.) I didn't download any thing or put any CD installs into my computer while doing this process, might contribute to the lack of driver updates possible.)

After trying to install that program again, same stuff happens. Computer restarts right the program starts up.

Maybe I should start giving up hope? =(
