Hello everybody
I need help recovering windows but I don't have the disc (windows said i
have unofficial versions of files for Windows). But I have moved all of the
files in the files in I386 to a new partition. I belive that the folder I386
contains all the setup files. But I dual boot with PC Linux OS and Mandriva
Linux. Last time I tried recovering a hard drive with Linux I left Grub or
Lilo on the boot sector, Is there still a way I can recover.

No, the i386 folder does not contain everything you need to recover windows.

You really do need a Windows XP CD to do this job.
