I have MS2000 and MS Outlook for e-mail
I have a user ID and MS Outlook Data file (the Data "pst" file size = 1.2GB) and that is for my current USER ID: hkalak
I have accessed my computer with a different USED ID
Then; i opened the Explorer and locate my Outlook data file (hkalak.pst) and double clickit
it asked me : OPEN WITH? I selected MS OutLook
Then it start openning the Outlook and keep hard disk working for 2 minutes, then the Outlook opened with no information at all. There is nothing on: INBOX / SENT ITEMS or even the old "hkalak" information and folders configuration
I have asked one of my IT friends and he says that Outlook when open the "hkalak" Datafile it override the old information with new one and therefore the 1.2 GB has been replaced by a new file size of 35KB only
he also says there no way to retrieve the old information of: hkalak
I need your help to tell me if I can retrieve my old (hkalak) information and e-mails with my previous configuration or no
Please note; i tried to look in the Recycle Bin but there nothing can be restored
PLEASE HELP ME
