Hello

I have a user who has deleted a subfolder in his .PST
file. They are not using exchange but just Outlook 2000
with personal folders. Is there a way of getting the
folder back, is it stored anywhere else.

Thanks

Nick

Thanks for the reply

I have opened it in ulra edit but im not to sure on what i
do next. I have the left pane with the path of the file in
it. I then have the right pane with all the hex in it. It
has 100's of rows of data.

00000000h: 21 42 44 4e d7 66 c2 5e 53 4d 0e 00 13 00 01
01 ; !BDNxFÂ^SM......

I have lots of rows similar to this, what paert of it do i
change.

Thanks for the help

00000000h: is the row number-> don't change
21 42 44 4e d7 66 c2 5e 53 4d 0e 00 13 00 01 01 -> HEX data
; -> separator
!BDNxFÂ^SM...... -> plain text data

You can either change the 7th to 13th HEX block (c2 to 13) to 20 or the the
7th to 13 character (Â to .) of the plain text to SPACE.
