Colleague called me for help...

No backup, important documents on PC (Windows 2000) and
disk crash (Dell 4400 PC - disk diagnostics show FAIL)

Copied the hard drive data to a new Maxtor hard drive
(with a few errors) using Maxblast 3. Drive shows 8GB
used (the same as on the bad drive), however it does not
boot and Recovery Console "cannot find a Windows 2000
installation to repair" - obviously no Emergency Repair
Disk available.

Any suggestions as to how I can recover the data???

Can you put the copied drive into another machine as a slave and read
it's contents that way?
