recover emails from previous installation of outlook express

I installed XP Pro over XP Home - but forgot to backup my emails in the
putlook express folder ! How can I recover the old folder? HELP! Thanks in
advance.
 
If you did a format they are gone. Otherwise search for *.dbx

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
