recover e-mail

I have been storing them old e-mail in my hotmail account.

I decided to get my hotmail through outlook express. All
of my hotmail messages transfered over to express fine.
I decided that since they were in Outlook, I could delete
them from my hotmail account to save space. Little did I
know that it also deletes them from Outlook. They are
not in the trash can in either place.

Can you help me recover them? They mean alot to me.

Unfortunately, you can't recover those emails. Outlook uses WebDAV to
communicate with your inbox so when you delete emails through internet
explorer, you delete them in Outlook as well as you've seen. I've been in
the same position as you so I can certainly empathize...
