Recover data from a hard drive with deleted partion

R

Rob

I've made another dumb mistake.....I deleted the partition from a hard drive
that contains data that I need. For what ever reason I was NOT paying
attention and selected to delete the wrong partition on the wrong drive. I
did not format, nor have I made a single move on the drive since removal of
the partition. Could someone please tell me if I can recover the data and if
so what procedures do I need to follow to complete this task???

Many thanks in advance, Rob.

Partition Magic is what you need.

Go to start --run--then type in system restore. Whenthat comes up choose an
earlier date to go back to. All should be well (e-mail address removed)

Yes, make the drive a slave, create the same partition,
format it, download a file recovery utility, there are
many on the web and run it. You should be able to recover
what you need. DO NOT DO A LOW LEVEL FORMAT ON THE HD.

Good Luck

Hi,

System Restore will not recover a deleted partition or volume.
