Windows Vista Recover an email from Windows Live Mail thats not in the drafts

I use Windows XP home premium SP1 and use windows live mail local client build 12.0.1606.

My windows vista froze today while I was writing a very long and important email. It didnt give any error screen, it just literally froze where even Ctrl+Alt+del didnt work. The mouse cursor also didnt work.

I had no choice but to power cycle the laptop to get back in.
To my dismay, the email did not get stored in the drafts even in windows live mail.

Is there anyway of recovering bits of that email if not all of it from some log file?

please do take a moment to help me out. That email is very cruicial.

Hello Ali, I'm sorry, but your draft email will not be recoverable, unless you had already saved it as a draft, according to Windows Live Help.

what about the ebd log files in appdata folder under the user?

it just opens in wierd characters with bits of english in it.
